# Availability Alerts

> About Campflare availability alerts

What is an availability alert on a technical level?
Each alert is essentially a set of constraints on top of the state of all campgrounds.
Campflare continuously updates this state.
When an alert switches from unsatisfied to satisfied, a notification will be sent to the configured webhook.

Availability alerts are supported for every campground that has availability data, as outlined in the [coverage section](/campgrounds/coverage).
